How does it work?

If Pre Purchased: All Boxes will ship the first week of the purchased month. All future payment processing will be updated to charge monthly the final Monday of the preceding month. All future shipments will ship the first week of the month.

If purchased after the 1st of the month, your initial box will ship immediately. Following boxes will ship consecutively 1 month from date of original shipment.

Monthly subscription:  Each month you will receive a surprise 5oz Gold Tin Candle and Match Jar shipped free to your doorstep. You will be charged each month on the date of your initial club box purchase and your box will ship within 3 days from the day payment was received.

PrePaid Subscription: Each month of the purchased time period (3 or 6 month) you will receive a surprise 5oz Gold Tin Candle and Match Jar shipped free to your doorstep. You will be charged once at the date of purchase. Following boxes will ship consecutively 1 month from date of original shipment.

Seasonal Subscription box: Gain first access to seasonal collections. You will be charged once for the entire year. Annually the boxes ship out the second week of January, April, July, and October. Each box will include a surprise seasonally scented 5oz Gold Tin Candle and Match Jar.

Can I send a box as a gift?

Yes, this is one big reason we developed the subscription box.  It’s a perfect gift that will make your loved one feel special all year long.  Simply add their shipping address at checkout in lieu of your own.

When will I get my box?

After the ship date it takes 2-6 days depending on where you live in the country from us.  Please note the holiday’s and weather conditions can cause delays for the postal service.

What if I want a previous month’s box?

You can always reach out to us at Hello@dapperbearcandleco.com and see if we have extra that we can send you.

How do I change what subscription I want?

Glad you asked.  It is very easy to change your subscription by logging into your customer account via our website (the person icon in the top right corner). Once you create or login to your account you will have access to a Manage my Subscription button in your account dashboard.

How do I change my credit card information or my shipping address?

Simply log in or create an account on website and find the button "Manage My Subscription" located in your account dashboard.

My Subscription Box arrived damaged, incomplete or it didn’t arrive at all, what do I do?

First of all we are so sorry.  Second, email Emma at Hello@dapperbearcandleco.com and we will get everything taken care of for you.

Your first burn is like a first impression, very important ;)

Burn your candle until there is a layer of melted wax evenly spread from edge to edge of your candle. By not doing so, your candle may begin “tunneling” which is when wax burns down the center instead of to the edges inevitably losing longevity.

• Do not burn candles for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
• Trim your wick to a 1/8-1/4 inch before relighting.
• Do not place lit candles in breezeways or near open windows.

• Variations in size, color, and design will naturally occur.
• We guarantee the quality and individuality of all of our handmade products and conduct thorough quality checks.
• If you purchase two or more of the same items, you may notice slight variations.
• We hold our handmade products in the highest esteem, and we hope that you enjoy and celebrate these variations as much as we do.
• Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using a clean-burning mixture of a phthalate-free coconut-soy wax blend and an FSC certified wooden wick.
• When our candles are exposed to temperature changes, sometimes the wax will pull away from the glass jar, this is commonly referred to as ”wax spots”. Once the candles are lit, the wax will become warm and fully set into the glass jar again.
